I used this awesome stamp set created by the developers of the new crafting community The Collective Creators. Mary Polanco, Courtney Kreeber, & Jenn Bena. They have started something HUGE. If you haven't had the opportunity to check this new crafting community out, I highly encourage you to do so.
I hadn't planned on creating a video with this card but I did record it just in case and I'm so glad I did. I love how this scene card turned out.
You can watch this card come together here: Delaney Jane Cards
I was inspired by watching Antonia @ Taffleberry Lane, Kelly Latevola and Courtney Kreeber. If you are looking for some card makers that really are colorists, check them out!

Solid Image Stamping and Using Stash Items
Today I made a card using an older set from my stash. It is far from the oldest, I love my stamp stash!
I want to show that you don't always have to have the newest items to create beautiful card. This card was created entirely with stash items that have been in my stash at least a year, some items are five or more years old. (the newest item was an embossing folder, new to me, not sure how long it has been on the market)
I used this beautiful patterned paper to base my colored stamping on. Though my stamped images were bolder, I think it still worked well together.
I used some pearls that I've had for years, some "sample" size ink pads and some really well versed techniques to make this card. Clear embossing powder over colored ink, ribbon and twine, coloring embellishments to coordinate, edging with inks... this card has so much put into the details but I didn't need to own anything new to do it.

Creating with MayMay Made It's Salt & Light Set
I know Thursdays have been set aside for our Halloween card making but I wanted to squeeze this one in before the new set was released.
I created two very quick cards with the previous MayMay Made It religious stamp set of the month. This set has so much more to offer than what I show, but I needed to make some simple cards and reached for this beautiful set.
These two cards are basically the same excluding the patterned paper. You can watch this and the coordinating card be created here: Delaney Jane Cards

Pink and Main Sweater Weather Courtyard Kit Unboxing and 7 Cards
I purchase the Pink and Main Courtyard kit every month and have for the past 7 months now. I absolutely find these kits to be a stretch for me. I love getting them as sort of a surprise to myself.
This month it was a sweater weather kit and it included an adorable paper pad with all sweater themed papers, a stamp set with coordinating sentiments and images and some embellishments. The kit always includes white cardstock and colored cardstock as well as 4 A2 white envelopes. These kits also include an awesome zipper pouch. I usually use them to keep my kit contents in but truth be told, when I packed for the hospital when I had my last baby, some of those pouches may have made it into my luggage for my personal items. ;)
You can watch the unboxing and all the cards being made here: Delaney Jane Cards
I do share a little about myself in the coordinating YouTube video.

Paper piecing and Shading an Image
I used Simon Says Stamp's collaboration set with Colorado Crafts. I adore their legs line of stamps and have several in my "stash". I normally start with a card sketch or even a concept using dies from my stash or sketch out an idea in my card idea book but this time I let this card create itself. Sometimes it is just fun to create organically.
I know as of filming and voice over the stamp set was still available but this is less about the stamped image and more about the technique of paper piecing and shading those pieces.
You can see the shading I added to this patterned paper. It is subtle but it adds a ton of dimension to the finished card.
It is more noticeable in the tan/ beige dress of the middle dancer.
Here you can see the finishing details including the Love from Lizi peel offs and the additional strip sticker.
You can watch this card be made on my YouTube Channel here: Delaney Jane Cards

Mixing Similar Patterns with Pink & Main's My Universe
I created an adorable outer space themed birthday card with Pink & Main's My Universe Stamp Set. I also used their Galaxy patterned papers to create the background. These patterns are very similar and could carry a card design on their own, however creating a background using two creates interesting depth and dimension to this scene. And these adorable images make this card irresistible!

Adding Sparkle in Unexpected Places- Boo Hoo
I created this adorable Halloween themed card using an old set by Raisin Boat (now operating under Sum More Fun Stamps)
I colored these adorable ghost images with a 5 year old girly girl in mind. Adding pink and sparkles every where I could. I really hope you enjoy watching this card come together.
You can watch this card be made here: Adding Sparkle in Unexpected Places - Boo Hoo
Sum More Fun has an interesting affiliate program. Instead of advertising on other avenues, they believe that those that purchase from them will advertise for them. And I won't say I don't agree because I'm including the affiliate link for their store here:Sum More Fun
Affiliate programs cost you no extra money but I make a small portion off anything you decide to purchase. Did I mention they always have a huge clearance section???

Creating With Only Sentiments
I used Pink & Main's new stamp set titled Going Places to create a card using only sentiments. I feature a very neat die cutting technique to add interest to a simple card as well as ink blending and heat embossing. All great techniques for the new crafter and the advanced crafter alike.

Glow in the Dark Night Scene with Heffy Doodle's Rescue Dog
Hi Crafty Friends!
Today, I created a night scene card with glow in the dark accents and the most adorable super dog ever!
I used Heffy Doodle's Rescue Dog stamp set and an MFT die with for the city silhouette and a Mama Elephant die for the frame.
This super simple card features an ink blended night sky with water drop details, nuvo glitter starts and nuvo glow drop details!
I copic colored the super dog and fussy cut him out so he wouldn't have a white border. I thought that would be jarring against the night sky.
Here is the process video on my channel if you'd like to watch this card come together. Delaney Jane Cards YouTube

Mirror Card Using Unity Stamps
Hello Crafty Friends!
Today I made some very encouraging cards using some Unity Stamp Company stamps. I've had these stamps for a while and to be honest, I'm a huge fan of Unity Stamp Co stamps. I always get a great image with their red rubber stamps.
Being a small business myself I absolutely love that I can support a small business when I purchase from Unity. Unity is located not far from me, about 4-5 hours away, in Minnesota. I've been purchasing their stamps for a very long time and have a fairly elaborate collection of the red rubber goodness they cook on-site to order!
Ok, well we are all here for the cards, so let's get right to it.
I've been trying to really encourage others lately. When I find myself in need of encouragement most, I try to encourage others as much as possible. I am a firm believer that what we put out into the world, we get back.
I wanted to remind women that when they look in the mirror they are not seeing the version of themselves that others see. We often pick and poke at ourselves in a way that is detrimental to our mental health.
I created scene cards where the woman was looking in the mirror. And the mirror is really a mirror.
I used Tonic Studios brushed silver cardstock. If you haven't checked out their papers yet, I'm sorry but your wallet will be mad!
I created the frame with a beautiful die from Spellbinders. It is actually a locket die but with a little trimming and a snip, it becomes a beautiful mirror frame.
Check out my video and see how these beauties came together!Delaney Jane Cards YouTube
