MIXING CARD KITS WITH STASH ITEMS | #TEAMTINYGRATEFUL HOP | Small Crafty YouTuber Collaboration

I am participating in the #Teamtinygrateful video hop today. This hop is a collaboration with several small YouTube content creators with less than 1000 subscribers. These channels have not met the requirements for monitization which is a bonus in this case, you can hop along with no ADS! Super fun for you!

All you have to do is click the hashtag #TeamTinyGrateful and a playlist should come up in your YouTube feed. Any and all of these videos are going to be worth the click. Try it and see. ;)

I used the newest Pink and Main crafty courtyard kit and a sentiment stamp from The Stamp Market to create this mash up card today to go with the theme of grateful.

Confused about why I named it all Delaney Jane Cards if my name is Renee’?
This entire thing, shop, YouTube channel, blog, etc, it is all named after our angel daughter who passed away in 2013. I made her some promises when she passed away. I would spread joy, I would make her proud and I would speak her name daily. This is one way we choose to honor her memory, and help me keep my promises.

Inspired by the Core team at The Collective Creators | Christmas Series 2019

I am a PROUD member of The Collective Creators. I have been a member from day 1 and plan to be there for a long time to come. It is an amazing place to share, learn and grow.
I created cards today using inspiration from the core team, Mary Polanco, Jenn Bena and Courtney Kreeber.

I used the exclusive set from TCC and a Penny Black set to create these simple cards.

Paper Smooches Sunnyville

Today I bring you some Sunshine! This card was created with a stamp set I spent a long time pining over. I wanted to add these adorable images to my stamp collection but either the set was sold out or I would overlook it during my order. I FINALLY GOT IT!

This little sun hugging the cloud is by far one of the cuter images I own. I perched the little bird on the cloud and it ended up being one of the most adorable images I've ever seen. These Paper Smooches images are really similar to the other sets they offer. I wish I had endless money because Paper Smooches, I'd be coming for you!~

This card also features one of my all time favorite patterned paper pattern types, clouds! I love cloud patterned papers. I wish someone would come up with an entire 6x6 pad with just cloud patterns. I'd buy two!

I even pulled out the "used to be everywhere and on everyone's cards" Pretty Pink Posh clear sequins. I used a variety of sizes to create a scattering across the card panel.

The star patterned paper was solid enough to host a sentiment, especially a heat embossed sentiment. This bold type worked well against this mustard colored background. And what an amazing sentiment, am I right?

The Copic markers I chose to color this sun were the Y20 markers and they left the sun in the right shade to match the patterned papers but it really lacked the glow a sun would have, so I glazed the sun with a brighter yellow marker to give it an immediate internal glow.

You can watch the entire card come together on my YouTube channel here: Delaney Jane Cards

Thank you for stopping by and as always GIVE CARDS GENEROUSLY!

Lawn Fawn | No line Coloring | Nutty or Nice | Christmas Series 2019

Today I chose to play with my Lawn Fawn |Simon Says Stamp Collaboration set from 2018 called Nutty or Nice.

I know this set isn't available any longer but I know many people have it and this isn't so much about the stamp set as it is about the technique.

I used what I'm calling Nichol Spohr coloring. No line coloring with Zigs. She has mastered the technique and if you are looking to learn she has so many videos on her channel showing just how to do to this.

Some very cool things about this type of coloring is that you can make your images look soft. The traditional black line sometimes looks harsh.

Lots of fun details are hidden in this little scene. Like this squirrel, is he taking this acorn from his friend or hanging it up as a gift? You tell me.

All items were purchased with my own funds. This video / blog is not sponsored.

MayMay Made It's Ask Seek Knock in a Simple Scene

I used the MayMay Made It Scripture Club Stamp set from September 2019 called Ask, Seek, Knock to create two cards. The intention was not two cards but someone, I'm not naming names, didn't hit record... Renee'...

So we ended up doing a double take and created a second card. This stamp set was requested by a viewer and friend. I was happy to create with it.

I used a very old paper pad from My Mind's Eye and when I originally saw this set I immediately thought of this one piece of paper from that pad. I'm not sure how I remember what is in what paper pad but somehow, I do. Anyway, I used several layers of patterned papers and multiple dies to create this adorable scene card... or two of them...

I added shading to create dimension to this door. It is one of those panel doors so there are tons of places where I could practice this technique. I used B00 and BG78 with BG45 and BG53 as my mid-tones. There is a lot of distance between these colors and it helps to create this really dimensional look.

Additional details like the leaning Welcome sign and tiny topiaries really help to make this a scene without any extras like more wall or windows, etc.

The images are grounded with a strip of patterned paper and a gold scalloped detailed die cut border. It creates a cozy space for the images to hang out.

I finished the cards with an identical sentiment but one is heat embossed in gold with a tiny gold bow and the other stamped in brown ink and embellished with a strip of patterned paper with banner ends. Some gold confetti spread the sparkle around the card.

To watch this card be created you can check out my YouTube channel here: Delaney Jane Cards

Using the Collective Creators Exclusive Stamp Set

I used this awesome stamp set created by the developers of the new crafting community The Collective Creators. Mary Polanco, Courtney Kreeber, & Jenn Bena. They have started something HUGE. If you haven't had the opportunity to check this new crafting community out, I highly encourage you to do so.

I hadn't planned on creating a video with this card but I did record it just in case and I'm so glad I did. I love how this scene card turned out.

You can watch this card come together here: Delaney Jane Cards

I was inspired by watching Antonia @ Taffleberry Lane, Kelly Latevola and Courtney Kreeber. If you are looking for some card makers that really are colorists, check them out!
