Today I started creating inventory for Craft Fair Season. I made 16 of these cards using different Designer papers.

All basically colored the same but different enough. I even used "craft herpes" I mean... glitter...

Day 29 of the 30 Day Challenge

Day 29 of the 30 Day Coloring Challenge put on by The Daily Marker. I can't believe I have made it 29 days!

I colored this girl, amazingly named Renee Girl!, with Copic Markers. After cutting her out I also stamped the image on this map designer paper and placed my cut out on top. For some fun I used some ribbon like a finish line.

Day 27 of the 30 Day Coloring Challenge

Day 27 of the 30 Day Coloring Challenge by The Daily Marker. Anyone can play along still use hashtag #thedailymarker30day

I chose my color combination today based on a color challenge put on by Splitcoast Stampers. The colors were a dusty purple, greyed olive and light teal.

I believe this AngieGirl stamp named Harmony Girl is a new stamp. Available at Unity Stamp Company's online store.

Stamping and coloring on the designer paper actually makes this image appear softer. I love how this turned out.

Day 26 of the 30 Day Coloring Challenge

Still participating in the 30 Day Coloring Challenge put on by The Daily Marker. Anyone can participate just use hashtag #thedailymarker30day

Today's card was another non-traditional coloring medium, ink on a dauber! I masked the cake image off one layer at a time and daubed on the ink. Blended the background a little bit with the same colors and that was it! I followed a sketch from Splitcoast Stampers SC581.

Day 25 of the 30 Day Coloring Challenge

Day 25 of the 30 Day Coloring Challenge put on by The Daily Marker. Anyone can still play along, just use hashtag #thedailymarker30day

Today I used a technique called Emboss Resist. I heat embossed the Altenew sentiment using Ranger Clear Embossing Powder onto this Strathmore Smooth Cardstock. Then I used Tim Holtz Distress Inks to water color the background. The color will not adhere to the embossing. This gives a neat effect.

Day 24 of the 30 Day Coloring Challenge

Day 24 of the 30 Day Coloring Challenge by The Daily Marker. Anyone can play along, even at this late date... just use hashtag #thedailymarker30day

Today was all about quick and simple. I stamped the images from A Muse Studio's Bundle of Joy set on this Sugar Cardstock. I chose to stamp the images on a scrap piece of cardstock and color them and trim them out, adhering them to the stamped images on the card front. I could have colored them directly on the card base and this would have been an even more simple card, but my coloring medium of choice tonight was Copic Markers and they tend to bleed through cardstock and I wanted a clean interior for this base.

Day 23 was all about coloring something that I haven't colored on in FOREVER, SHRINKY DINKS! I stamped and cut out the ribbons from shrinky dink material and colored with Copic Markers. They are adorable! I can see doing the shrinky dink thing for shaker cards ... soon!

I used A Muse Studio's splash and did the smush technique to apply the background then splashed some splotches. I die cut the hi out of the main panel and placed it over the onyx polka dot card stock. Simple and a new coloring medium. #colorallthethings

Day 20 of the 30 Day Coloring Challenge

Day 20 of the 30 Day Coloring Challenge put on by the Daily Marker. Anyone can still join in. Use hashtag #thedailymarker30day

Today I used the C'est La Vie stamp set from A Muse Studio, a circle die and some Tim Holtz distress inks.

I thought this skyline would look really neat with a highlighted circle popped up. And then I thought, it would look really neat with some blended distress inks in the background. AND I WAS RIGHT!

I stamped the image twice, once on the card base and once on a piece of sugar card stock. Then I blended the distress inks over the image on the extra piece of card stock. Die cut the image. Added foam tape, popped up the image over the base image, being sure to match up the lines... and that was it. I love how this turned out.

Day 19 of the 30 Day Coloring Challenge

Day 19 of the 30 Day Coloring Challenge by The Daily Marker includes this adorable card!

Anyone can play along with the Coloring Challenge just use hashtag #thedailymarker30day

Today I wanted to show that a card doesn't have to have tons of layers or images or take a ton of time. This simple image was colored using a few Copic markers and then cut out, fussy cut. I used some foam adhesive to pop it up on a plain sugar card base. Stamped a sentiment from the same stamp set and it was a great card.

How cute is this little fudge pop? I mean, adorable, right?  I just didn't have the heart to make him share the spotlight with any other image.

Day 17 of the 30 Day Coloring Challenge... and a sneak peek

Day 17 of the 30 Day Coloring Challenge is a sneak peek at a new set by A Muse Studio that will be available starting March 1st. The set is called Crazy Friends and it has some of the funniest sentiments. There are also matching dies.

As always, you can play along with the 30 day challenge by using hashtag #thedailymarker30day

So back to the card. I was having trouble with inspiration when it came to making a card. I have been being mommy to a very crabby 8 month old little boy for days now and I am mentally exhausted. So, I turned to the Mojo Monday sketch challenge and to Always Playing with Paper's color challenge.

I could have stamped the flowers directly onto this panel but it was an after thought. So I used the coordinating die to cut it out perfectly. I colored the image using Copic Markers.

The cups were stamped onto the matching die cut using a stamp positioner, then colored using Copic Markers. A thin layer of quickie glue and some glitter on the hearts and these cups were perfect. They are actually stacked on two additional die cuts for a little depth. They were the original intended image for this card but when I started putting it together I knew it needed something more. And that is really how the flowers happened.

P.S. I need a new camera or better lighting or something because these colors are not photographing as they appear in person. And that makes me pretty sad.

Day 15 of 30 in the 30 Day Coloring Challenge, Half way there

This is the card I chose today as my Coloring in the 30 day coloring challenge by The Daily Marker.

Remember anyone can play along, just use hashtag #thedailymarker30day

I was inspired to create this card because Unity Stamp Company has these new challenges on their Facebook page Unity {Show and Tell}

This is the inspirational image Unity Stamp Company Posted.

I stamped the image out 4 times.(Unity's As we go along)
Once on the Kraft main panel, once on the green patterned Designer paper from Little Yellow Bicycle (Acorn Hollow 6x6 pad), a second time on Kraft again and finally on the red patterned paper also from LYB.

I trimmed out all the pieces, except the main panel. I cut just the flowers out of the red, cut the entire layer out of the green and cut the wrap and most of the entire image, except the leaves and stems out of the kraft layer. I edged them all with a Tombow marker and then layered them together.

I shaded the layers with Copics, W2 & 4 on the flowers and the kraft layers, G67 &11 on the green layers, B000, B00, & B02 for the water. A few lines and dots from the white gel pen, some twine and a banner sentiment panel and this baby was complete. :)
