Darcie's No Trout About It | Father's Day Card | Using Tins for the 1st time and my Thoughts

Hi Everyone, Welcome back. Today I have a project for the Not 2 Shabby Shop Design Team featuring Darcie's No Trout About It Stamp set and the coordinating Tin Pins.

I've never used Tin pins before and I share my thoughts as I give them a go.

 

 You can see the thickness of the tin pins here. Although I normally do not make thick cards or use thick embellishments, this was fun to adhere to my card. I think the soft edges of the tin pin will make for easy shipping as well.

I added this fun fish to the inside of my card for some finishing details.

Summer Time Buddies | Beginner Watercoloring | Not 2 Shabby 2020 Spring and Summer Release

Today,  I played with the Not 2 Shabby Shop's Spring and Summer release again. 

This time it was the Summer Time Buddies set. 

This month I've been practicing my watercoloring as well as playing with the new release Jamie has in her shop.

Building A Dimensional Scene | Beginner Watercolor | Picnic Fun

Today, I'm playing with the Picnic Fun Stamp Set from the Spring and Summer release from Not 2 Shabby.

I created a dimensional scene using the images in the stamp set and some fun patterned papers and dies from my collection.

I also am working on my watercoloring this month and am again playing with the General's Kimberly watercolor pencils 12 ct and I'm using Canson XL watercolor paper.

Today, I got to play with the new Caffeinated Goat from The Rabbit Hole Designs. Jamie has this stamp available in her shop,

 I layered the papers from the two paper pads I used. And I paper pieced the robe. Who wouldn't pick a sky with clouds robe with grass details? Not Meh! <---lol.

I had to color the eye all bloodshot because I know when I'm tired my eyes are all blood shot.

 Confused about why I named it all Delaney Jane Cards if my name is Renee’? This entire thing, shop, YouTube channel, blog, etc, it is all named after our angel daughter who passed away in 2013. I made her some promises when she passed away. I would spread joy, I would make her proud and I would speak her name daily. This is one way we choose to honor her memory, and help me keep my promises.
