Day 14 of the 30 Day Coloring Challenge

Day 14 of the 30 day Coloring Challenge hosted by The Daily Marker.
Anyone can play along just use hashtag #thedailymarker30day

I did a little water coloring using Tim Holtz distress inks tonight. The colors were based off an inspiration challenge from Splitcoast Stampers.

I adore how this card turned out. AND this watercolor technique, totally outside of my comfort zone of Copic Markers.

Day 9 of the 30 Day Coloring Challenge

Day 9 was about challenging myself to use color combinations I probably would never use together and also to use techniques I hadn't used in a while or hadn't ever tried. On top of participating in the 30 day coloring challenge by The Daily Marker ( #thedailymarker30day ), I also participated in three challenges on Splitcoast Stampers. PFEW! Lots of challenges and this card was challenging.

I paper pieced the dress and bow on the little girl. I masked and stamped the puppy. I die cut the oval using the out of the box technique. I did the pleated skirt fold on that green polka dot strip. I used a crazy color combination from a color challenge and I used my Copic markers to COLOR!
